Sandra brings her skills in marketing and communications to strategically expand the reach of Donovan’s energy efficiency messaging.
Cincinnati, Ohio – May 23, 2023 – Cincinnati's top energy advisory and solutions company, Donovan Energy, has appointed Sandra Okot-Kotber as its new marketing manager. As Donovan Energy continues to execute its strategic vision, Sandra's experience and expertise will further the company's marketing initiatives and expand the reach of Donovan Energy’s efficiency message.
As a University of Central Florida graduate, Sandra’s focus on Human Communication brings a wealth of skills to this role. She has already begun collaboratively working with Donovan’s senior leadership and sales to implement strategic and tactical marketing plans. Her experience with social media management, website creation, graphic design, and copywriting has proven invaluable.

In previous roles, Sandra coordinated communications for internal and external audiences — employees, management, and customers. In addition, she facilitated the onboarding of new staff members and managed company events. Before joining Donovan Energy, Sandra worked as a Manager of Communications and Marketing at Artworks. ArtWorks is an award-winning Greater Cincinnati nonprofit that creates community-based public art providing career opportunities for artists of all ages. In this role, she developed content for their organization distributed through social media, newsletters, and event invitations.
Sandra has also dedicated over five years to writing for Women of Cincy, a nonprofit media organization dedicated to creating a more inclusive community by centering the diverse voices that make up the fabric of Cincinnati. She uses her creativity to enact this mission through three pillars: storytelling, community building, and mentorship.
As the marketing lead for Donovan Energy, Sandra will work with energy experts to share how businesses benefit from energy-efficient buildings, commercial EV infrastructure, and innovative funding programs like PACE — Property Assessed Clean Energy financing. From capturing customer success stories with photographs and video interviews to writing awareness-building sustainability content, Sandra will capture the ins and outs of how Donovan Energy is making a difference and promoting the new ESG standard.

In addition to creating content about Donovan’s latest projects, Sandra is responsible for developing marketing and sales campaigns that target potential customers in the Greater Cincinnati area and beyond. She will oversee all digital and traditional marketing, including social media, advertising, events, and more.
